Machine Calf Raises

Machine calf raises are important to help strengthen your calf muscles,and calf muscles are important for endurance such as walking up and down stairs and running.

Here's the correct way to perform this exercise.
1. Place the balls of your feet on the edge of the step of the footrest on the calf machine.
2. Position your shoulders under the pads of the machine,then place your hands on either side of the shoulder pads.
3. Now keeping your legs straight,rise up onto your toes as high as possible. Keep in mind not to arch your back,and to take your time doing this exercise this is not a race.
4. Return slowly to a position where your heels are hanging down as far as possible,this will make for a good stretch.
