Machine Squat

Machine squats are great for exercising your lower body (upper thighs and hips). Always keep in mind that this exercise is a hard one to perform so make sure the weight your do is the weight you can handle.

Here's the correct way to do this exercise.
1. Stand underneath the barbell while keeping your feet shoulder length apart.
2. With your arms holding the barbell while gripping the bar 8 inches or so away from your shoulders,then you may proceed to lift the bar off of the brakes.
3. Keep in mind to keep your feet pointed out and your back UN-arched.
4. Now with the machine it is easier on your posture but always remember to keep your back straight. Begin to proceed to bend your knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Keep in mind not to go and lower than that.
5. Now you can return to your starting position.
